BUG SQUATCH- HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Many moons ago, while enjoying one beautiful crisp night in Northern Michigan around a campfire, William simply had enough. Enough of the swarms of mosquitos dive bombing him. Enough of the ticks crawling up his legs. Enough of the horseflies biting the back of his neck as the sun set. Regardless of smelling like he fell into a vat of OFF bug repellant, those pesky pests would NOT LET UP! Exposure to toxic chemicals still did not fend off the bugs! Armed with frustration and disgust and with a little help from his ingenuity and creativity, William set out to develop a bug repellant that would top them all. He wanted to make a bug repellant that would smell great, work great, and most importantly be FREE FROM ALL CHEMICALS.
After trying many recipes against the bugs in Northern Michigan and Canada, this master mixologist had finally concocted the PERFECT BUG BREW. This brew is the very recipe that we at Michigan Moon LLC use in the creation of our NATURAL BUG REPELLANT BUG SQUATCH.
BUG SQUATCH has been proven effective against any bug that it has come up against. It serves as a barrier against mosquitos, ticks, gnats, chigges, horse flies, deer flies, ants and many more. It even has the power to kill on contact. Something that the chemical DEET in competing bug repellants cannot come close to doing.

Bug Squatch Bug Repellent Candles
Our Harvest Moon Bug Repellent Candles burn brilliantly bright. These candles smell fantastic with notes of cinnamon, clove & other fall scents filling the area as they burn. In our Bug Repellent Candles, we use essential oils and the actual dried herbs that bugs are bred to avoid making for a fragrant treat for us and a fragrant nightmare for them.

How to use BUG SQUATCH!
1. Shake the bottle!
2. Spray an even coat over your entire body (We have never found a white shirt that stains when sprayed with Bug Squatch- if you are hesitant, try a test spray on an old piece of clothing to see for yourself.
3. Make sure to apply our product on BEFORE YOU GO OUTSIDE! Bug Squatch cannot protect you from those pesky pests if they are biting you before you apply the spray.
4. Reapply as needed
a. If you sweat A LOT, apply more often
b. If you are in and out of water, apply more often
c. If it is a hot humid day and this leads to sweating, apply more often
d. If the bugs are out in full force, apply more often
** The length of time before reapplication is needed varies from person to person!
ALSO CONSIDER- There are those individuals that unfortunately have “SWEET MEAT”. If you are savagely attacked by Mosquitos, gnats, no see ems on a regular basis, there is usually A REASON. Blood type, body temperature, use of hair care products, use of perfumes/colognes, and oddly enough DNA (your genes). This may make it even more difficult to combat those pesky pests.
DOG FRIENDLY Bug Spray
Did you know that a dogs sense of smell is 100x more powerful than that of a human? Because their sniffers are superman strong, too many smells/smells that are to strong can become over powering all to fast. This is another reason that we here at Michigan Moon LLC specifically chose to use ONLY 3 essential oils in our Dog Friendly Bug Brew. This Bug Brew is simple, light, & NOT overpowering to those powerful snoots.

We include the exact ingredients in our Dog Friendly Bug Squatch because we want you, the consumer, to know exactly what you are putting on your dog. We want you to make the educated decision of what to use when it comes to knocking out those pesky pests for your fur baby. To protect your furry friends from those pesky pests, apply our DOG FRIENDLY/SAFE Bug Squatch to them before you take them outside. Here at Michigan Moon LLC, we have researched dog safe essential oils and chose to use Lavender Oil, Cedar Wood Oil and Clary Sage Oil. These carefully selected oils provide protection against mosquitos and ticks. In addition to their power against those pesky pests, Lavender has a calming effect for your fur baby! Cedar Wood, while killing fleas, ticks and other pests, serves as an effective antiseptic, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory agent. Cedar Wood oil can also help to relieve anxiety & stress in dogs.
There are many essential oils that are toxic to dogs. Unfortunately throughout our research, we have come to find that many of these TOXIC essential oils are currently used in many DOG SAFE BUG SPRAYS that are on the market. We have done the research.
